A World-Class Achievement

It is with immense pride that we announce that Canary Wharf College Glenworth has been awarded World Class Schools Accreditation, one of the most prestigious accolades a non-selective state school can achieve.

This is far more than an award; it is an independent recognition that our school provides an exceptional education and prepares pupils not only for academic success, but also for life beyond the classroom. The rigorous accreditation process examines the quality of teaching, leadership, curriculum and, most importantly, the character, confidence and capabilities of our pupils. Schools must demonstrate that their children possess the knowledge, skills and attributes needed to thrive in an ever-changing global society.

Only a small number of schools nationally hold this distinguished status. The World Class Education Network intentionally limits accreditation to around 2.5–5% of the country’s highest-performing non-selective state schools, with only a small proportion being primary schools. This makes Glenworth’s achievement truly exceptional and places us among a select community of schools recognised for educational excellence.

This accreditation belongs to every member of our school community. It reflects the unwavering dedication of our exceptional staff, the ambition and enthusiasm of our pupils, the trust and partnership of our families, and the collective belief that every child deserves an education without limits.

We should all feel incredibly honoured to hold the title of a World Class School. It is a recognition of everything we have achieved together, but it is also a commitment to continue striving for excellence, nurturing aspiration and ensuring that every pupil leaves Glenworth ready to make a positive difference in the world.
